Why us
Transparent pricing
In the appliance repair industry, there are no fixed pricing rules. We believe pricing should be clear, reasonable, and based on real repair factors.
We calculate repair pricing based on important factors such as:
- The cost of sending a technician to the customer
- Transportation and travel time
- Technician payroll cost
- Office and dispatch cost
- Parts cost
- Company overhead
- Warranty responsibility
- Other repair-related expenses
After reviewing these factors, we help create a labour charge that makes sense for both the repair company and the customer. The repair company should be able to make a fair profit, but the price should still be reasonable and clear for the customer.
Parts pricing
Replacement parts also have real costs attached to them. In most cases, repair companies add a reasonable markup on parts, usually around 15% to 25%.
This markup helps cover costs related to the part, such as ordering, pickup or delivery, handling, warranty support, and possible return or replacement process if the part fails. It also helps cover the responsibility the company takes when installing the part and providing warranty protection to the customer.
Our goal is not to overcharge for parts. Our goal is to make sure the parts price is fair, transparent, and enough to support proper service and warranty coverage.
How our system helps lower the cost
When a company understands the appliance issue before the visit and brings the right part on the first visit, it can save a lot of time and money. Fewer return visits usually means lower costs.
Using our system, the customer provides important information before the appointment, such as the appliance brand, model number, issue description, photos, and videos. This helps the technician prepare better and increases the chance of completing the repair on the first visit. Because the company can save time, the repair price can often reflect that saving.
How this helps the customer
For the customer, understanding the expected labour, travel time, and parts cost before the repair helps them make a better decision.
- You can understand the possible repair cost before the company arrives at your home.
- You can compare whether the repair is worth it.
- You can avoid surprise charges.
- You can make an informed decision before moving forward.
We have heard many stories where a repair started at $400 and later turned into thousands of dollars because the company had to return several times with different parts and charge new labour fees each time.
With Grade Pro, our goal is to reduce unnecessary return visits, avoid high surprise bills, and help you get a fair and professional repair at a reasonable price.
