We review the problem and give you an estimated repair cost based on thousands of past repair jobs with similar issues. It's not guaranteed to be 100% accurate, but it gives you a realistic price range and helps you decide what to do next.
How the estimate helps you decide

What happens after the free estimate?
We send you our recommendation. If the repair looks worthwhile, you can book a screened repair company from our network, or order a detailed $20 quote prepared by one of our specialized technicians.
Sometimes we'll recommend a service call because the problem can't be diagnosed accurately from the model number, description, and photos alone - some appliance issues need hands-on electrical and mechanical testing. A service call isn't free, but it gives you accurate numbers before deciding to repair or replace.
15-minute video call option
When it helps, we'll offer a short video call with a technician so they can see the appliance and guide you in the right direction. We recommend this after reviewing your free estimate, when it makes sense for your situation.
