Terms of Service
Effective January 2026.
1. Who we are
GradeRatePros is a British Columbia service that helps homeowners get fair appliance repair estimates and connects them with vetted repair companies.
2. What we provide
Estimates, detailed quotes, video-call consultations, and repair-booking coordination through our vetted partner network. Actual repair work is performed by independent partner companies.
3. Estimates are not guarantees
Estimates and price ranges are based on the information you provide and known parts and labour costs. Final pricing is confirmed on site by the technician before any work begins.
4. Payment
Free Estimate is $0. Detailed Quote is free during the launch promo (regular price $20). Video Call is $40 (50% credited if you book a repair). Repair payments are made to the partner company, subject to their terms.
5. Warranty
All repairs are covered by our warranty policy (90 days labour, 6 months parts). See the Warranty page for full terms.
6. Your responsibilities
Provide accurate information about the appliance, allow safe access for the technician, and pay for services rendered per the confirmed quote.
7. Limitations
GradeRatePros is not liable for damages caused by misuse, third-party service, pre-existing conditions, or events outside our reasonable control.
8. Changes
We may update these terms. The current version is always available at this URL with an updated effective date.
